Message From The School's Director

It is our pleasure to welcome you to the website of Madina Islamic School (MIS). We have every hope that as you go through the page, you will find reasons why you should entrust your child with us, so that we properly take him / her through our effective foundation of comprehensive intellectual life. We also pray that you will find the answers to the relevant concerns and questions you may have about MIS.

Ours is a school where all stakeholders are collaborators in the provision of a sound teaching and learning experience for the benefit of our young learners and future leaders. As the Director of the school, charged with the responsibility of coordinating the resources and functions of the various departments, I feel excited and privileged working with committed stakeholders all of whom have unwavering passion for learning, and would do whatever it takes to make learning effective and fun for the benefit of our valuable students.

Over the years, MIS has groomed and prepared thousands of children who currently are out there as part of the global community helping to make a better world for all. Thanks to the leadership of the past, who have worked tirelessly to sustain the school in the last 40 years, the school has gone through interesting times to be where it is today. Haven had the opportunity at the moment to be part of the history of the school, we are committed to raising the school to higher heights in order to chalk even more successes; especially in the area of effective students’ learning outcomes.

As captioned in our motto, the major thrust of MIS is academic excellence and discipline. That notwithstanding, we commit valuable time and resources in nurturing our young learners to successfully overcome the challenges of their future. Thus, we are committed to crafting and implementing a hybrid curriculum which will ensure that every child we turn out is well placed to embrace the future. Our enhanced curriculum and its implementation, the co-curriculum activities, as well as all the internal practices of academic and non-academic staff, support the motto of MIS “Nurturing Excellence and Discipline”; and are aimed at offering diverse opportunities for our young learners to identify their peculiar talents, and to exploit them to the fullest possible advantage.

Parents and guardians are a substratum in preparing the future of our learners, and we are grateful for them for haven faith and trust in us, and for supporting and challenging us to give out our best. We are confident that Allah will guide and empower all our stakeholders, especially our learners, so as to scale greater heights, and to fly the flag of MIS high, wherever they find themselves.

ALHASSAN NAIMU

DIRECTOR.
